Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Vokitoki (“we”, “us”, “our”) for using the Vokitoki app and this website. By creating an account or using Vokitoki, you accept them.

We wrote them in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask us — contact details are at the end.

• You must meet the minimum age required by law to use Vokitoki.
• Your account is yours — keep your credentials safe and the information on it accurate.
• One person, one identity: accounts created to impersonate others or evade bans are not allowed.

Vokitoki connects the people, shops, services and communities of your neighbourhood — chat, walkie-talkie voice, Address Tags, nearby discovery, and a local marketplace, in one app.

• Use Vokitoki for genuine neighbourhood connection and commerce.
• Location features work with your permission — you can withdraw it anytime in device settings.
• We may update, improve or discontinue features as the product evolves; material changes will be communicated in the app.

The Vokitoki marketplace is direct and local: transactions happen between buyers and sellers in your neighbourhood. Vokitoki provides the platform that connects you.

• Sellers list for free and set their own prices.
• Sellers are responsible for their listings being accurate, lawful, and genuinely available.
• Delivery or pickup is arranged by the shop — sellers handle their own fulfilment.
• Giveaways are always ₹0 — items offered as giveaways cannot carry a hidden price.
• Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings and asking questions before ordering.

• Vokitoki is free to use for buyers and sellers.
• Payments are handled by payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
• Refunds and cancellations follow our Refund Policy and the seller’s own terms for their shop.

Vokitoki works because neighbours trust it. The following have no place here:

• Fraud, scams, or misleading listings.
• Harassment, hate speech, or threats toward anyone.
• Illegal goods or services, or content that breaks the law.
• Spam, fake accounts, or manipulation of the platform.
• Misusing location features or Address Tags to track or endanger anyone.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules. Report and block tools are built into the app.

• You own the content you create — listings, photos, videos, Address Tags, messages.
• You give us the permission needed to operate the service: to host, display and deliver your content to the people you share it with.
• The Vokitoki name, brand and app are ours — please don’t copy or misuse them.
• Don’t post content that infringes someone else’s rights.

We work hard to keep Vokitoki reliable, but we provide the platform “as is”: we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not a party to buyer–seller transactions.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for losses arising from your use of Vokitoki is limited.

• You can stop using Vokitoki and delete your account at any time from the app settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law — serious cases immediately, otherwise with notice where practical.
• On deletion, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

When these terms change, we will update the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect.
